We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new store, ELM Active, an ELM Shoes Partner Brand! In May 2024, we shared that we purchased the iconic Carl's drugstore building at 6 E Baltimore Street, and we are excited to finally reveal the name! 

 

ELM Active was inspired a few years ago by Gavin Martin, the fifth generation of ELM Shoes, who found himself on a health and wellness journey that sparked his passion for running. He quickly became fascinated with running shoes, investing time to learn about their intricacies and how they can truly enhance your running experience. 

 

Over the past six years, Loren and Gavin have significantly expanded the selection of athletic footwear at ELM Shoes. With so many new brands, we started to outgrow our current space. We began searching for a new building and prayed for opportunities to arise. We are currently in the construction phase of connecting the new store on Baltimore Street to the beloved ELM Shoes you already know!

 

We chose the name ELM Active because we want to support you in all aspects of your life. Whether you're a runner or prefer a comfortable trainer for workouts, a great walking shoe, or a pickleball shoe, we have you covered! We are eager to bring you an additional 4,000 square feet of footwear goodness and active lifestyle gear.  We are open and look forward to serving you!!
